Competitive Gymnastics at Northwest Gymnastics Club
At Northwest Gymnastics Club, our competitive team program is designed for gymnasts who are ready to take their skills to the next level in a supportive and challenging environment. We offer a full competitive program, including both Pre-Team and Team, and compete in the Midwest Amateur Gymnastics Association (MAGA). Our training focuses on technical excellence, strength, flexibility, and confidence-building, while emphasizing positive coaching and athlete development.
With experienced D1 coaches, our program helps gymnasts progress through skill levels, set personal goals, and achieve success in competition. Whether your child is just transitioning from recreational gymnastics or is an experienced competitor, our team provides the guidance, structure, and encouragement needed to grow and thrive in the sport.
Comprehensive Training
Competition Opportunities
Regular competition schedule and Supportive Team environment: The MAGA meet season runs from November through March, featuring a series of home and away meets that provide gymnasts with valuable competitive experience. Throughout the season, athletes have the opportunity to showcase their hard work, refine their routines, and build confidence in a team-focused atmosphere.
MAGA Competitive Team
MAGA (Midwest Amateur Gymnastics Association) Team Gymnastics is a competitive gymnastics league designed for athletes of all skill levels, providing a team-focused environment with an emphasis on development, sportsmanship, and fun. Unlike elite or JO programs, MAGA offers a more flexible and inclusive competition structure, making it an excellent option for gymnasts who want to compete at a high level while maintaining a balanced approach to training.
Pre-Team
Pre-Team Gymnastics
Our Pre-Team program is the perfect stepping stone for gymnasts looking to transition into competitive gymnastics. Designed for athletes ready to take their skills to the next level, this program provides structured training in a supportive and fun environment. Pre-Team gymnasts participate in in-house meets, offering a low-pressure introduction to competition while building confidence and experience. This is an excellent opportunity for young athletes to refine their technique, learn routines, and develop a strong foundation before joining a competitive team.
